Why Insurance

Nowadays it is just plain foolish to take parting any form of country sports without third party (public liability) insurance.  Whether you accidentally shoot something, your dog causes a problem, your hired boat drifts onto rocks or your hawk or falcon sneaks off with the Yorkshire Terrier owned by the little old lady down the road, you are in constant danger of being sued.

This cost is not limited to the replacement of something damaged – there could be legal fees involved, and all sorts of associated costs.  Can you imagine, just as a simple example, if your dog runs through a hedge onto a road, causing a road accident where someone is seriously hurt?  The damages awarded against you could run into hundreds of thousands of pounds.
