FAQ

Q    I live in England/Wales/Northern Ireland. Am I eligible to join SACS?
A    Yes. Membership is open to ALL UK residents and also for overseas visitors whilst on holiday
     in the UK.

Q    Would I be covered in the Republic of Ireland?
A    Yes, as a UK resident all recognised country sports are covered worldwide, including North
      America.

Q    Does SACS membership cover loss or damage to my guns?
A    No. SACS membership covers you in the event of a third party claim due to an accident with
      your gun or other equipment.
      Your guns and other equipment will be covered on your household contents policy.

Q    Are my dogs insured?
A    Only for third party claims against you as a result of an accident caused by your dog. Your
      dogs should have separate insurance for death, loss, injury and vet bills.

Q    How quickly can SACS membership be activated?
A    You are covered immediately you have completed your registration either online or by
      contacting the office on 01698 885206. Your membership card and new member pack will be
      despatched usually within 10 days.
      However, if you need immediate proof of cover we will be pleased to send a covering letter or
      email immediately.

Q Do I need a Game Licence?
A No, all game licences in the UK have been discontinued.

Q Where can I get application forms for firearms and shotgun certificates?
A These and other forms are contained in USEFUL FORMS on the left hand side of this page.
