Details Illegal Traps and Snares Sold on the Internet. It has been brought to our attention that cheap steel spring traps originating in China are being sold over the internet.  It would appear that these traps are described as bing suitable for trapping or snaring rabbit, fox and small/medium sized animals. There is a strong  possibility that these traps may be illegal in the UK and SACS members are advised to be extra vigilant in checking the legally of anything bought from these sources.  It is the trap operator who is respopnsible for the legality of his traps as using anything with illegal components could lead to prosecution. If any member has come across any of these items please inform SACS HQ so we can persue the matter.
