Which type of membership is best for you? (All categories of membership have exactly the same membership status and benefits)
Full UK Membership - This is the most common type of individual membership. It applies to anyone who is resident anywhere in the UK, between the ages of 18 and 65.
Full (International) Membership - Open to all non-UK residents, to give them insurance and full membership facilities while they are within UK territorial limits.
Syndicate Member - a ‘syndicate’ is simply a group of people who wish to join and renew annually on the same date, which saves administration. This type of membership is unique in that it includes free insurance cover for anyone who is taking part in the country sport as a guest of the ‘syndicate’.
The minimum number of members needed to qualify for syndicate membership is six
Club Membership - a ‘club is simply a group of people who wish to join and renew annually on the same date, which saves administration. The minimum number of members needed to qualify for club membership is six. Junior Membership - Junior includes anyone up until their eighteenth birthday, and is completely free.
Family Membership - includes two related adults or partners living at the same address
Senior Citizen - anyone aged 65 or over
Keeper/Ghillie - includes any adult who is in full or part-time paid employment as either a gamekeeper or ghillie
Business Membership - for members who provide sporting opportunities for others, such as sporting agents. In this case, the insurance cover extends to the provision of these facilities, provided that the business member agrees to enroll his clients as SACS members. This category also includes cover for the control of vermin inside buildings.
