Avian Influenza (AI) | Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs

We are aware that, historically, we are at a crossroads in respect of Avian Influenza.  At this time of year, the risk can either increase or decrease.  We would advise that you keep an eye on the advice being issued by the respective authorities and act accordingly.  A significant outbreak affects shooting activities, including the collection of game.

We issued advice in respect of the kept bird register previously, and again, we would ask that you refresh your memories in respect of that advice.  Kept bird registers — Scottish Association for Country Sports
