Temporary Use of Land (Shooting Ranges)

The Scottish Government sought responses to a consultation to amend planning regulations to take in target shooting ranges which are used for less than 28 days.  The response submitted to the SG reflects that not only was this national consultation based around a politicised local issue, but there was also a strong argument not to amend the current legislation.  We would urge you to read the full response in order that you are fully aware of the issues at hand.
